Standard Refund Policy
The league incurs costs to process payments as well as up-front costs in advance of each season to plan for items such as uniforms, equipment, etc. The following Refund Policy is in effect:
- Refund requests made prior to the registration deadline will be honored less a $25 processing fee (less any credit card service fees).
- Refunds requested after the registration deadline but before the player is placed on a team will be honored at a 50% rate (less any credit card service fees).
- No refund is available once the player has been placed on a team*.
Check Return Policy
Any check payable to APB that is returned will incur a $25 fee.
*Fall 2021 Refund Policy Exception
The following Refund Policy is in effect for Fall 2021:
- If no games are played due to COVID-19 issues (and no uniforms have been distributed) APB will provide a FULL refund less any credit card service fees. For example:
- If no games played and no uniforms distributed then the refund would be $210 for Shetland and $250 for Pinto/Mustang/Bronco/Pony which is the full amount of the registration and volunteer fee.
- If 1 or more games are played (and uniforms have been distributed) APB will refund 10% of registration fees for each game not played up to a maximum of 50% of fees paid less the cost of uniforms (jersey, hat and belt = $40) and less any credit card service fees. For Pinto/Mustang/Bronco/Pony that would be $250 - $40 (Uniform Cost) = $21 per game. For Shetland that would be $210 - $40 (Uniform Cost) = $17 per game. For example:
- If 4 games are not played due to COVID-19 issues (and uniforms have been distributed) then the refund would be $84 (4 games at $21 per game)) for Pinto/Mustang/Bronco/Pony and $68 (4 games at $17));
- If between 5 to 9 games are not played due to COVID-19 issues (and uniforms have been distributed) then the refund would be $105 (50% of fees paid less uniform cost) for Pinto/Mustang/Bronco/Pony and $85 (50% of registration less uniform cost) for Shetland.
